Battered and bruised!

This poor little thing was getting a real battering from all this rain today. I really don't know how it was still standing. Believe me I wasn't standing for long I took this and ran straight back inside!

All week I've been saying to my lads what are we doing on Friday. (Dad has the day off!) Dunno has been the reply. They are 16 and 14 and a day at a nature reserve or even a walk along the canal is definitely not cool, especially when mum and dad have their cameras! At one point they did say a day at a theme park. I must admit I absolutely love roller coasters etc and liked the idea, but to be honest spending £100+ to get soaking wet in the rain just doesn't do it for me. I was hoping for nice weather as we thought we might have our first camping trip of the year but that's not on either!

So what have they come up with - Trafford Centre shopping!! As long as dad brings his wallet!! I think it would be cheaper at a theme park

I think my hubby may regret taking a day off in the school holidays in future!! x
