Fresh Snow on the Hills
Out all morning and yet another miserable day meant it was into the afternoon until the weather lifted a bit and I drove out to seek a blip at the marina. I found white herons, blue herons, seagulls flying, and spoonbills vacuuming the sea floor, plus scenes of the fresh snow down low on the hills.
I have a horror of being boring by not having variety in my blip choices, so decided my shot today would be the fresh snow rather than the birds. We don't get snow here on the flat, but it falls in winter on the surrounding hills and mountains. It hasn't finished yet - I think this is just a temporary break and we will get more tonight. It is going to be cold in the morning.
I have included a couple of bird extras because I love birds - especially flying ones with the graceful flowing lines of the wing .
