Lambs looking out for what ??? A 'tired' sign in Middle Teesdale.

Could it be the beautiful Golden Plover over the road ? Or the grouse that has just done a runner ?
Sadly it is a sign for humans - and three small dead lambs by the roadside only proves that we cannot do this.
