Showing the Kid the Ropes...

I wish the jays had come when the light was better and that the window were not so old and etched, but I like the story being told here.  Evidently, our deck rail was on the training route for the young jay.  The adult jay worked very hard to show him how to crack a sunflower seed and eat it.  The young jay tried, but I'm not sure he was very successful.  Perhaps he come back for more training some time when the light is better!
