Up periscope!

Backblip.

Off on holiday to the Outer Hebrides. It's a long journey so B & B near Loch Lomond.

This periscope was in the hall as the gentleman of the house had been in the navy and worked on them. When they were scrapped he bought one from the scrapman and has it on display. It dates from the 1960s and was used on nuclear submarines. It was a really interesting piece of machinery to see.
