Cake fest
Had a breezy day in Lyme Regis and mainly ate.
We started with a trip round the mill with a tour from an enthusiastic volunteer miller. After that we were hungry for bread so picked up some delicious wholemeal soda bread for lunch and found a bit of shelter on the sea front to scoff it.
We braved the beach for a good hour or so, attempting to build sandcastles and deal with Ben who wanted to get totally naked and swim in the sea.
Bought monk fish for our BBQ that night and stopped off at Milhouse bakery for cake and a brew. We shared an enormous slice and the choice (pictured) was a hard one. This bakery is the kind of place you wanna dine at morning noon and night.
The sun shone for our BBQ that night and amazingly Ben wolfed down fish, cous cous and a bit of veg, same boy who turned down pasta last night. Think someone's got expensive tastes beyond his 2.5years.
