Craiglockhart Hill

Took Miss L to a half hour singing lesson this evening so set myself the challenge of getting up and down Craiglockhart Hill in that time, having never been up it before. It gave me a different, but disappointing view of Edinburgh: the top of the hill is scrappy and the views are relatively urban. Perhaps unsurprising for a point well within a city, but if you don't know Edinburgh, yesterday's view was taken 2.5km inside the ring road.
