Modern art!

Grandbaby day today!  We a lovely day: in the morning we went for a walk to see the ducks and feed them and the fish! There was a pair of moorhens and their tiny, fluffy chick, and a heron on the other side of the lodge.  (Small expanse of water used for fishing; in this case)  In the afternoon we went into Bolton and I took Grandbaby to see some of the paintings and statues the museum has to offer.  She was very pleased to roam around!  Here she is looking-for all of two seconds- at a Henry Moore lithograph. 

To me this will always be classed as 'Modern art' even though it was done in 1949!  You might also consider her new hat as Modern??? if you prefer???   So this is my contribution to  David Hobbs's 'Wide angle Wednesday - Modern' challenge for this week.  Thank you for hosting David!
