Manhattanhenge

Back in Manhattan for the weekend! Packing and traveling today, luckily Marten completely made up for my lack of photos today by taking this photo yesterday of a near-Manhattanhenge. Manhattanhenge is the day that the sunset lines up with the streets of Manhattan and was - I believe - sometime last week. But it's still pretty close! This photo especially suits today, since it is always a magical moment for me personally, to drive south and see the Manhattan skyline appear on the horizon. And secretly a bit proud that I navigated my way into Manhattan on my own :)
