NORTH CAVE WETLANDS

Hehe . . . sorted that problem. Today a quick visit to North Cave Wetlands Nature Reserve, East Yorkshire – and no chance of missing a flying Bittern . . . because they are not present on this Reserve . . . Gotcha !

There is more than one way top skin a cat !

I did have 25 different species, including 30+ Avocet, some nest sitting, Shelduck, Buzzard and a Red Kite, alongside numerous BH Gull youngsters . . . oh and 2 RAF jets !

The water levels were fairly high so no exciting waders and no Dragonflies – perhaps it is still a touch too windy.
