A Quiet Breakfast.

Most days, when the Sulphur-Crested Cockatoos arrive at my pecan nut tree, they visit in a flock, and a very noisy flock at that! But occasionally, a pair of introverts will quietly turn up for a very subdued, low-key, munch on the lovely treats offered by the tree.

Today was one of those days. I could have missed seeing them at all, but I caught the movement of something out of the corner of my eye, and after watching the tree for a moment or two, this beautiful fellow revealed himself, stolen pecan nut and all! His self conscious mate remained hidden. I don't mind sharing though, the tree is huge, and there are plenty of delicious nuts to share. :)
