Siena Duomo

When I walked into this amazing cathedral,  I was taken back by the immense beauty that I witnessed.  I have never seen anything like this. I felt so privileged to be there and see the gleaming marble treasury of Gothhic art from the 13th and 14th centuries.
This photo is Pinturicchio's splendid ceiling and frescoes of the Libreria Piccolmini.
I really could have spent the entire day in this cathedral! But, time is always the issue, so I took in what I could.  I will always remember this!
