Bedraggled!

Rain, wind and a bit more rain thrown in for good measure today.....
Our wildflower meadow garden is looking a bit worse for wear with many of the wildflowers borders looking a bit flattened. The path is strewn with foot long daisies!
We had a busy day - Mrs S came round with her two boys. It was good catching up as I haven't seen her since our wedding. The children felt their usual urge to get out every single toy possible rather than actually playing with them but it was all good fun!
Then this afternoon the Little Misses and I went to school for their Jubilee Tea party which was very sweet. All the nursery classes joined together in the sports hall which was decked out in red, white and blue and they had a lovely tea with lots of juice and cake.
Result, no need to cook dinner!!!
The electrician came round yesterday to look at our oven and pronounced it dead! Yay, a shiny new oven will soon be installed!
How soon remains to be seen - the agent was a bit vague about ordering and timescales.... I'm fairly easy-going and we're ridiculously undemanding tenants but that's a week without an oven now and I want to see some action!!!!
Otherwise I might turn into Stowe Angry Lady
