Turnie's Tiny Tuesday
...he gets to go outside these days since it's been so warm~ :)
Here he is wandering about the yard, proverbial piece of grass in mouth. I haven't blipped Tur in a long time. For those of you new to him, he was a rescue box turtle originally known as Michelangelo, a science experiment long forgotten, who came to us in 2005. We'd had him for a while when he got out of an enclosure in our back yard and went missing for a month. Fellow blipper Mary Jo and I put out flyers to find him, and we did, but not before he had been run over by a lawnmower and thrown in a pond since the perpetrator thought he was a water turtle. Shell cracked in two, he had to get antibiotic shots for 2 months. But he's okay now other than his flat top shell, as you can see, just needs his beak trimmed. What a trooper.
Thanks so much everyone for checking out the Ragged Lady yesterday. I'm practicing with extension tubes and such. Today's was with a 31mm extension tube, 50mm lens~
