Tiny Tuesday - Hollunderblüten (Elderflower)

I first tasted Elderflower when I was visiting my friends in the UK about 15 years ago and I became hooked on it. After the UK I flew to Austria to visit my now husband and he offered me a soft drink called Hollunderblüten. It tasted very familiar and when I translated it it was indeed Elderflower. It grows wild here and the flowers and berries are used in many ways. I have even had them dipped in a pancake batter and deep fried.
The individual flowers are tiny - about 2mm across - so perfect for Tiny Tuesday.
