HOPE
April 18, 2014 I remember it as if it was yesterday. It was her first chemotherapy day. We bought these little rubber rings and I vowed to keep it on until the last treatment. The bright pinkness of it has faded. The word, "HOPE" which was once engraved deeply, is now barely visible.
I couldn't wait for this day. She has been through hell, but as I removed it, I felt a sadness. As if I was losing hope. Ahh, that word. Hope. I used to think it was for the weak. Until now.
God bless my Pi. I am thrilled, beyond words, that she won this courageous battle.
