Red Breasted Lunch Guest

Mr E and I went back to Abbey House Gardens in Malmesbury today. I fell in love with it all over again, as there were so many more flowers in bloom. We had lunch in the garden cafe and were immediately joined by this beautiful robin, who was so tame, he took food directly from our hands. 
A family of blackbirds also came to dine and although they wouldn't take food from our hands, they did come onto the table,  just a few inches from our plates. 
There is so much to see at this place, I really do recommend it highly. Please check before planning a visit though, as a few times of the year it is open to people who wish to wander around the garden naked!!
