Nobody dies!

We went on the over a certain age cycle ride today incorporated into the Bristol Cycle Festival. Our journey was via a circuitous route from Temple Meads Railway station to the Arnos Vale multi faith cemetery created circa 1830 and housing a cross section of human life in a history of architecture and of the tombstone. We were hosted by a wonderful lady who was there to tell us about the history of wildlife but who in passing gave us a history of the British empire . Look carefully and you will see people did not die, in those bygone days, they went to sleep, did not wake up, moved to a better place, went into the arms of Jesus, joined their love ones......I've blipped this place before. It's well worth several visits as are similar places all over our country....the wild life featured plants and trees imported into the UK from circa 1600 and now regarded as nation species of our country. Lecture over!
