Foot of the Walk

They've finally just about finished reconfiguring the Foot of the Walk.
Queen Victoria is still there, looking severe and a bit grumpy, but they've removed the big pointy thing and the large swooping benches where the junkies used to congregate...
Sad to hear of the passing of Harry; any Shetlander will know of him by first name alone. When Parsfan and I and some mates went to watch Faroes v Scotland by sailing in a hundred year old fishing boat from Lerwick to Torshavn, when we got off the plane at Sumburgh we were told to get in Harry's Van. We thought it might not be enough info to find our transport, but there it was in the carpark, with "Harry's Van" emblazoned on the side... it was a great trip, and Harry was a very welcoming and good-humoured shipmate. RIP.
