Today's the day!

Well I've been (im)patiently waiting for today for some time. I had the injection in my neck/spine, it seems a fairly straightforward procedure and very popular. I thought it would all be done and dusted in an hour but I was at the hospital for six hours! Although only in the operating theatre for about 45 minutes, it was painless too. Now the waiting begins... did it work or not. First signs are very encouraging and I should be able to stop using the morphine in a few days.
