The start of a new thing !

I love to Decopatch. To cover something that may be thrown away, unloved and unused. To then give it new life, to be able to reuse it and upcycle. I do the same with fabric and love to create new things from old. My bit to try and help save the environment and to stop things going to landfill. 
I've taken the plunge, and booked a stall at a craft fair (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1639848302919406&set=a.1544108152493422.1073741828.100006827556730&type=1&theater  )in a bid to sell my created wares and make some money. 
I scrimp, thrift and save using frugal ways and try to pass on my snippets of information I gather when I can. 
With a young family of four I search for the memory making days that pull us together as a family unit that won't hurt my purse. 
I'm looking to the simpler life that may be taking traditions from the past and applying it to today's fast paced living in a bid to see if  there is a different way with a chance to fulfill dreams,
