Not Porty People or Places.

All buildings in Switzerland after WW2 have to have nuclear bunkers in their basements. Today I was in one, briefly. . The giant spanner is intended to seal the door.. It truly trumps my trusty Seuss Army knife! That used to accompany me everywhere. Now it is in a drawer at home, for fear of confiscation at airport security scanners!

Today many Swiss use these shelters to store their excellent local wines!

I have not seen much of the beautiful surroundings that the Swiss enjoy today, due to a very busy schedule.
