Summer fun

Cheating and posting yesterday after I posted today as it's a better photo :)

Lovely sunny day - hot in the sun but pleasantly cool in the breeze or the shade. And a fab excuse for a trip to the park. Mike and I loved watching the swallows buzzing us and skimming over the playing field as well as enjoying the playground itself. We tried to interest him in rolling down the little hill but he's not quite up for that yet. Getting super confident on the climbing frame though including tackling one bit he was struggling to manage just last weekend.

Followed by a trip to the pub for lunch where he was very disappointed by the shameful lack of a bouncy castle but did enjoy his lunch and squash and toy truck.

A nice day. Definitely not as tantrummy as a week ago but still having occasional battles over things like going in his high chair. Might concede he's to big for one now if he would actually stay in a normal chair long enough to actually eat!
