Waterside

The Tyne flows slowly beneath Nungate Bridge at Haddington with very little evidence of the floods that sometimes cause anxiety to those who live beside the river.  The dainty little pink flowers of fairy foxglove decorate the buttress walls of the bridge above the honesty blooms. Unfortunately I saw no sign of any cygnets with the two swans below the bridge.

The extra photo is of the daisy covered lawns looking like snow in the adjoining Pleasance Gardens.
