the question was asked and he replied
"Did I need this? Yes, I think I did!" - Lewis Hamilton
Okey dokey then, as most of you know, She spent our anniversary weekend in Montreal, in very close proximity to her "favorite man" and yeah, She enjoyed, as expected, every moment of Her time in the province of Quebec.
Absolutely loved it in fact, the hoped for and anticipated results were achieved!
Four hours afterwards, when we 'facetimed' (is that a verb?) She was still completely ecstatic!! "Her Lewis" had shown his "brilliance" and yes, again, he "performed his 'mission' exceedingly well"
Again, folks, for me to say She was thrilled with her weekend would be true, yet not even close to reality. I'd say indeed, She was as far "over the moon" as an "English woman of a certain age" could get without causing undue embarrassment to her class, herself, her family and her husband. Who was simply relieved the lad won the bloody thing!
Listening, in stunned silence, as She informed me She would be returning back to SFO at 3 a.m. this morning I didn't know whether to cheer or to wonder "why"
That, by way of reference was, in fact, the biggest "curve" (you like that connection to the theme) that could have been thrown my way.
Her leaving The Queen Elizabeth two days early, without being coerced is/was definitely unexpected, welcomed yes, but still totally unexpected.
Before I forget, I would like to deviate from the theme and say thank you to everyone who wished us well and congratulations in regards to the 21st, your thoughts and sentiments are very much appreciated and received with the utmost humility, you guys/gals are simply too kind!
People like you are not common in life and are treasured by us as much as the deposits in Ft. Knox are by Jack Lew!! Thank you, thank you all!!
Moving on
It's 'mono Monday and JDO - the hostess - has deemed the theme to be curve, interesting theme, so here goes, in case you ever wondered what SFO was like at 3 a.m., well . . .
