Check out the birds!!

Well, rain nearly stopped play again but the new bird feeder is now installed and fully stocked.

This being Thursday our Grandson is here and he was ready to help by filling up the bird bath using his mini watering can.

There was of course more water on him - and us - as there was in the bath!!

I thought it might take days, or perhaps weeks, for any garden birds to appear but we've already had some small visitors.

It's now miserable an dreich and certainly not much like summer and this afternoon, Council workers were putting up the Gala Day flags.

Can only hope things get better by then.
