Hey There, Mister Blue...

Yes, that's right, that is blue sky you can see peeping through the acer leaves.   Summer has arrived.  For one day only I think.  The clouds arrived pretty soon after I had taken this shot but it's been dry and warm with the sun making frequent appearances, so not complaining.

Visited Gill this afternoon, who is recovering from her gall bladder op.  Thankfully she's feeling much better but it's still pretty painful when standing up and sitting down....oh and laughing, which is a problem as when her and I get together, there's always laughter.  Today was no different but there was a lot of wound holding going on between guffaws.  

Not sure when she'll be back at work (if she had her way it will be sooner rather than later!) but I miss her and Alan does too.   Isn't it funny how someone you've not known for very long, in the blink of an eye becomes an integral part of your life?  And very glad I am too.
