Dad's birthday trip - House of the Binns

I spent the morning baking a birthday cake for dad and cupcakes for an event on Tuesday, then Tim and I headed to Cleveden to enjoy dad's day-early birthday cake then take him to the intriguing House of the Binns near Linlithgow with his birthday present of National Trust Membership! We met the couple who live in the house, the current owners in the family line, which was a pretty unique touch! This is dad and I by the Tower in the grounds - it was very windy!

On the way home we stopped in South Queensferry for coffee and ended up at an all you can eat cake and coffee fundraiser for a charity, then the Petfords and Tim went for dinner at the Inn at Carnock, which was nice but no Red Lion at Culross!! A good birthday day for dad - if a day early!
