Ruins along the Kawarau River Track

13 members of the walking group drove to Old Cromwell Town, and walked from there along the Kawarau River Track to the Bannockburn Bridge.  It was a lovely walk, a bit windy across the ridges, but calm down in the valleys.  Here we are walking past some old ruins on the way to Bannockburn.  We finished the day with a cuppa and a chat at a cafe at Old Cromwell Town.  One of our members (Grant) celebrated his birthday today.  Quite warm +13C.  Home now and ready for a 'lld (little lye down!!!) in front of the nice fire.
