Color

My morning chores finished before the heat of the day, I pulled up a lawn chair in the shade. I battled the New York Times Sunday crossword, and in the heat of the day, it slowly kicked my a$$. Permanently puzzled by 33 Down, "Redolence", I looked up at the scene before me. Wow. All of these colors. Maybe I'll just put the crossword up for now, and appreciate this back yard we've made. I'm thinking an eight-letter word for "Appreciative"...starts with G, ends in L.
