Old, New, Old, New,Old, New
The Wee Pal and I took ourselves of to the Edinburgh College of Art to have alook at the annual dergee show, I have been a couple of times but it was the Wee Pals first time.
We saw "Things".
Some "Things" made sense, some "Things" were impressive, some "Things" were funny in a funny peculiar kind of way other "Things" were just plainly inexplicable. (There was a near incidence of a bout of giggles but we managed to get out of the room before anything embarrassing happened)
After a good time wandering around looking at "things" we took ourselves for a coffee and a wander through the new Quartermile which is built on the site of the old Royal Infirmary. It was the first time we had been through that part of town and we were surprised and impressed with the juxtaposition of the existing buildings and new developments. I would imagine that the view from one of the top new apartments would be quite impressive.
Anyway back to the degree show, as an engineer I was impressed as usual by the product design and the architects especially the Churchill Engine. The Wee Pal was taken with the Illustrators
