'Night Tracks'

Earlier today when I arrived home from work I uploaded a sunset shot taken from a house in Yarrambat. I had only taken about half a dozen shots for the day and none were particularly good.

After dinner and putting the kids to sleep, I decided to take the camera down to the local train station at the bottom of our street and try to capture some night shots using a wide angle lens that I have hired to try out for a day or two.

This is my first attempt at this type of photography and I think there were lots of lessons learnt. I used a tripod and a shutter release cable for a long exposure.
