Birthday Bone

Jaffa turned one today so as a treat we got her a big bone. She's never had one before and she was very, very happy about it. Took it straight out to her favourite place in garden (under the whirligig clothes drier) and didn't move very far until she had licked it clean.

In other news: Matthew played two full games today. The first for his normal team and then in a dads/coaches game. That was the first time I've played a real game for many many years and I think it's fair to say that a professional career is not around the corner. Matthew played really well, especially when you consider that at least two of the opposition had played professional football in their younger days and a few more had played to a high standard at youth level. He certainly wasn't shown up.
Adam returned from a sleepover party in one piece. Unlike his best friend's favourite teddy bear. Fortunately Adam has an exact duplicate and he suggested donating it to replace the damaged bear, which had had an unfortunate incident with a campfire!
