Billy Goat Trail

First light as I looked out the window of our bedroom I saw a fox walking across the front lawn.  Headed out in the car to the Potomac and the Billy Goat Trail.  I was the first on the walk and after a few minutes my hair was full of spiders' web.  Beautiful morning - sat watching this neon for sometime and saw squirrels, cardinals and  damsel flies.  On the way back met a fawn which stood 10 feet away from me, uncertain as to whether to be afraid or not.   Headed back to the house for breakfast - lovely start to the day.
