Off the Brick Road: Munchkin Garden

Its never completely ok...The summerheat is making us sleepy. Even with a cool morning wind we wake up late. Sluggishly looking out for a rain cloud in the clear blue sky. No. here we have this summerheat you were longing for. But its too dry for the garden, the woods, the fields. Even the waterlevel in the river sinks. Help, we need rain!

You cannot go for a real walk. It would be endangering your health. So halfway the afternoon finally we went out to make a kind of phantasy sightseeing tour. Upward to the deadend of Garden Town. Up there is the gateway to some mysterious invisible forest-villa. Around more than one empty hillhouse, overgrown with ivy, trees and bushes.

Its mysteryland up there, all ending nowhere in emptiness. No Passage, it says. We don’t know who might be living up there, if anyone does. In one of the lower gardens you will find these poppies. Soporific. Ah! Awgh...It seems we are near Mount Munchkin. We need help, Dorothy! Its deadly dangerous to fall asleep off the Brick Road here...
