Sunday Rider

I love Oxford on a sunny day.  This shot was taken a 10 minute bike ride from the city centre....

Sandy, Kate, Sarah and I rode along the towpath through Osney to Port Meadow where we paused to watch the many many geese, cattle, horses, kayakers, canoeists, picnickers, wild swimmers and even sailors before we headed up to Wytham and over to the Fishes in North Hinksey. 

Whilst we had wallpaper with ducks on in the ladies at the Fishes, Sandy was most disgruntled to find the gents had sexist cartoons.

Later we sipped Kate's homemade elderflower cordial and wondered if we should try a London to Paris bike ride.....
