Grand Canal with 21 locks

This is a run of 21 locks or gates. Saw a pair of boats going thru side by side. Funny the men stood at the back chatting and steering while the women ran around and up and down the canel winding locks open, and pushing gates closed.
Looked like hard work. Then a coffee by the locks where we spotted a baby green snake on the path.
