Rock climbing in the Hermitage of Braid

This was something I'd never seen before: it can't be more than half a mile from my home, and there they were, doing proper rock climbing!

We were on the other side of the valley, climbing the Braid Hills on a walk that made me feel very lucky to live where I do - you feel as if you are out in the countryside so close to home.
