Regatta

The annual regatta came to town and we celebrated with our now traditional picnic on the grass by our flat and a day of lounging with my Mum and some friends. Most of the boats don't come upstream as far as ours, but it gets so crowded, and we get so comfortable, it becomes hard to drag ourselves away from our spot. We spent the afternoon chatting and playing games, and extended our celebrations into the evening with a trip to the pub.
