Let Sleeping Ducks Lie

The journey back to Aberdeen from the Greater London area can feel a bit boring, mile after mile of motorway. So it is a welcome break to stop at the Tebay service area which is almost exactly half way. It is a refuelling stop both for the driver and the car.

The Northbound service area has a quite a few ducks in residence, when I arrived mid afternoon it seemed to be time for a siesta as far as the ducks were concerned. Though a couple of them came to life just after this as a couple of people were having an outdoor snack. One duck in particular seemed to feel he was entitled to a share of whatever they were eating.
