Matlock Band, Ashford in the water

A wonderful day in the Peak so a walk was in order to visit the final day of Ashford in the Water's Well Dressings, which were lovely.
Outside the village hall, Matlock band had turned up and along with delicios home made cakes and squash a very pleaant half an hour was had soaking up what makes a wonderful quintessential english summer.
Delighful.
By the way we were half way through the walk over to Ashford when I realised I'd forgotten my camera so had to make do with my pet hate camera phone.
