Today's job
Plenty of them having extended our French empire by adding what the locals might refer to as a presque-ruine. The before image would have had a huge heap of earth down the whole stairs and picking your way up has been a precarious job. Now I've finished doing quite so any of those precarious runs, I thought I'd investigate this mud slope and after several very sweaty hours of work, this set of stone steps is revealed.
A considerable improvement to my eye.
Coincidentally it has shown that the area under the building here is one of the coolest around as there always seems to be a breeze. Important as the temperature are forecast to soar into the high thirties over the next few days.
