A Day At The Museum.

One item that the National Museum of Scotland doesn't seem to hold in it's collection is a moai from Easter Island.

I once came face-to-face with one of these iconic statues when I was young, a small example set outside the Bishop Museum Planetarium in Honolulu.

Even when I was ten I was still awestruck to be confronted by one of the great mysteries of civilisation.
