relaxing

A sunny day but still a cold wind.
We set out this morning to deal with the woodworm we knew was in the stairs, and found it was much worse than we thought. We had to remove the two lower steps altogether. And then the vacuum cleaner was overcome by the dust and expired. 
We finally got it all cleaned up and treated. 
This afternoon we continued painting the garden furniture, and this evening we actually went out. A friends birthday barbeque, a roaring fire, guitars, and lots of good friends I hadnt seen for ages who were really welcoming. Even the midges couldn't spoil it.
