Daucus Carota

Back in May, I thought the garden was full of weeds. After pulling many out, I decided to wait and see if they were possibly wildflowers.

Queen Anne's lace is an edible plant and commonly called wild carrot.

No wonder my father loved them. With all of his wildlife adventures back in his 20's, he probably had eaten them on occasion.

How ironic that they are growing in our new yard.
