Strawberry Fair

It has indeed been a day of random loveliness.  The sun shone and me and Roland spent the day at Strawberry Fair in Cambridge.  It was the 41st Fair, and is free, organised completely by volunteers and is totally independent. The majority of income comes from fees from stallholders and catering and bar franchises.  It is very family-friendly and lasts just for one day.  The organisers are known as 'Strawberry Fairies' and they always make the event very magical.

We officially declared the start of summer by having some Pimms.
