Quarter Final
It's been a lovely day of sunshine and warming up too :) The forecast had us down for rain in the afternoon but only a shower arrived at the back of 7pm :)
Up early with the morning sunshine and spent most of the day outside :) Got the washing on first thing and headed out walkies with Sammy while it was washing. Clothes hung out and spent the next while in the garden before lunch. I went to the Cunningsburgh History Hut in the afternoon to help mam and Lyn set up for the opening tomorrow and I've planted up some bedding plants in pots for a colourful welcome :)
With the football pitch next to the hut, me, mam and Elise watched the football before heading home again for tea.
Back out in the garden this evening and getting more plants and flowers planted and then going to take it easy for the rest of the night :)
The Parish Cup quarter final has been on at Da Moors, Cunningsburgh, Cunningsburgh (green) Vs Sandwick (red). There's always been friendly rivalry between both parishes, with only a few miles that separate us. I'm glad to say that Cunningsburgh won the match today with a 2-1 defeat and extra time.
