Time for a picnic.

The owner of this restored scooter was just about to take his granddaughter on a picnic.
We used to have a red Vespa and when the first son came along we bought a very basic wooden sidecar (without a hood!)  I used to sit in it with the baby on my lap and the dog at my feet.  Health and Safety wouldn't allow that nowadays.  My husband put a little handle on the front and the baby used to hold onto it going round corners!  I think this is where No 1 son got his liking for open top cars.
