Trumpeting its Beauty

The Blue Trumpet Gentians are low growing but I wanted to show you one against the sky. A more typical "Swiss Chocolate Box" collection is in extras and I have put a whole series of Alpines against the backdrop of the Dents du Midi in Flickr, https://www.flickr.com/photos/hilarysview/?, if you are interested. I had a fabulous walk on one of my favourite peaks, La Valerette, right next to the Dents and my foot was OK. Now it is requiring a long sit down!
