Visited Bagshaw Museum - Batley - set in Wilton Park - where this train circles the lake

Whilst walking in the 36 acres of grounds - said hello to a chap cutting the grass around a fenced off building - who asked if we'd like to see his telescope - an offer not to be refused - so we went into the Observatory - belonging to The Batley and Spenborough Astronomical Society - and declared the telescope - which was built its members - to be a very fine one

Although the full circle of the roof was not opened - did appreciate the view of Emley Moor Mast through one of the sections - the passion and knowledge of our guide - so much so that a monetary donation was left!
